Catherine Dunnack

Catherine Dunnack brings a wealth of experience to her position as the Institute's Program Assistant. An administrative professional with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, Ms. Dunnack fulfills a wide array of responsibilities. Her academic and experiential backgrounds have equipped her with a range of skills in the areas of program management, administrative support, and public relations.

She has received training in technical writing, office management, interpersonal communication and word processing. Born and raised in the state of Connecticut, Ms. Dunnack is well informed about the history and government of local communities. This asset is particularly useful as the Institute attempts to establish partnerships with local constituencies.

As the first point of contact for individuals and groups seeking information about the UNESCO Institute and its subsidiary programs, Ms. Dunnack connects the Institute with well wishers and potential partners. Assisting the Director of Global Outreach in initiating programs locally, nationally, and globally, Ms. Dunnack serves as a liaison with various campus and city groups and facilitates the coordination of programs and activities. As she helps to recruit and nurture the Institute's Student Ambassadors for Human Rights, Ms. Dunnack also serves as a mentor and role model.

Her keen insights regarding social justice issues and her strong commitment to promoting human rights make her an invaluable member of the Institute's work team.
